Have you noticed that the American Civil Liberties Union is more concerned with the liberties of foreigners than with the liberties of Americans?
The most basic American liberty is the freedom to live our lives in a secure nation. When islam went insane and became determined to wipe out all societies that did not bow to their perverted view of life, they began a reign of terror attacks around the world. Can you remember what you and I, the average American citizen, did to deserve being murdered by terrorists at the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, on Flight 93? Nothing comes to mind, eh? That is because we did not do anything to deserve it. Yet, muslims have been attacking us since the 1970’s. Think of our embassy in Iran, the marine barracks in Beirut, the embassy in Nairobi, the attack on the USS Cole, Daniel Perl’s head being lopped off, the attack on the World Trade Center in 1993, 3000 murdered at the WTC in 2001. And after all of these attacks, remember Fort Hood, the Time Square bomber, San Bernardino, The Boston Marathon bombing, yesterday’s attack on their own people at the mosque in Quebec.
The European countries let in unvetted refugees. Since then, they have lived with rampant crime, mass sexual assaults on their women, whole areas of their countries that are now no-go zones for the police and of course, terrorist attacks in Paris, Brussels, Nice, Berlin.
The first duty of government is to protect its citizens. President Trump’s executive order to bar immigrants from nations with proven high levels of terrorist activities until vetting processes are in place is eminently sensible. Of course it is going to inconvenience people from those countries who had wanted to come here. We understand that some of these people are legitimately refugees who are fleeing dangerous situations but we cannot tell them from dangerous militants who are coming here to kill us and we will not be able to tell them apart until there is some way to effectively investigate everyone who wants to come here from these nations. Is an American citizen’s safety worth denying a foreigner entry into our country if we do not know anything about that person? According to the ACLU and the media, no, it is more important to let the foreigner in than it is to let the American live.
Shame on all of those people. President Trump’s order is right for America. Until you can separate the wheat from the chaff, don’t let any of them in. It is better to be safe than sorry.
