Kerry: Admit 100,000

From the Wall Street Journal, September 9, 2015:

“Mr. Kerry told lawmakers that the U.S. expects to take at least 75,000 refugees from all parts of the world in 2016, the aides said. That is an increase from this year’s total, 70,000.

Mr. Kerry also told lawmakers he would likely come back to Congress to request their agreement in taking in more refugees, according to the aides. When pressed on what that number might be, he suggested 100,000, aides said, or about 30,000 more than this year.”

From the London Express, September 10, 2015:

The Syrian operative claimed more than 4,000 covert ISIS gunmen had been smuggled into western nations – hidden amongst innocent refugees.

The ISIS smuggler, who is in his thirties and is described as having a trimmed jet-black beard, revealed the ongoing clandestine operation is a complete success.

“Just wait,” he smiled.

The Islamic State operative spoke exclusively to BuzzFeed on the condition of anonymity and is believed to be the first to confirm plans to infiltrate western countries.

Islamic State, also referred to as IS and ISIS, is believed to be actively smuggling deadly gunmen across the sparsely-guarded 565-mile Turkish border and on to richer European nations, he revealed.

They are following the well-trodden route taken by refugees and migrants fleeing, travelling across the border of Turkey then on boats across to Greece and through Europe.

There are now more than 4,000 covert ISIS gunmen “ready” across the European Union, he claimed.

The operative said the undercover infiltration was the beginning of a larger plot to carry out revenge attacks in the West in retaliation for the US-led coalition airstrikes.

Before we begin to bring these refugees into our country wholesale, as the Europeans have, do you not think we need to screen them to weed out the terrorists?  We believe in protecting the innocent.  Does that not apply to our children first?  While we recognize that the need of the Middle Eastern refugees is immediate, to rush headlong into bringing these people into our country without using due diligence to eliminate the dangers to our own citizens is wrong.  We note that the Chinese, Russians, Iranians and Saudis are not taking these people in.  We should at least be cautious before letting them into America to live among us, even if it means some of those people suffer during the wait.  Remember, this war has been going on for three years.  Why is this now an imminent problem?  Those east European and Asian nations that are much closer to the problem are not opening their borders.  Perhaps it is because they remember what ISIS has done to people who are not on their side.

In case you have forgotten what ISIS stands for, here are two reminders.  Remember, these could be your children in America.  Tell your representatives to use restraint in dealing with these people.
